Electronic Maintenance Tech III  (SCA)

The selected candidate will be a member of the GDLS JBLM team. 
 
Position Responsibilities:

-Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook. 
-Acquired knowledge of GDLS processes, products and military technology
-Ability to demonstrate detailed job knowledge of maintenance mechanical duties across the organization and be capable of performing the necessary tasks and problem solving of various situations encountered
-Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision and capable of working independently with minimal errors
-Perform all duties related to maintenance and technical support on C4ISR systems
-Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems
-Install, upgrade and remove products in accordance with engineering field changes
-Complete all administrative forms as work is completed
- Proven ability to perform multiple tasks within multiple workstations.
-Excellent communication skills along with professional demeanor that extends to all levels of the organization
-Demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate with other Electronic Maintenance Techs and supervision to ensure processes are aligned
-Display the ability to guide, relay and maintain accountability for instructions and project objectives to small maintenance team(s).
-Demonstrate the ability to mentor/train junior or replacement Electronic Maintenance Techs on technique and lessons learned. 
-Demonstrated good housekeeping skills and ability to convey such practices to team members.
-Must be able to foster and enhance teaming environment.
 
Position Requirements:
-6 to 9 years related experience working with US Military Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and military tactical communication equipment
-Stryker C4ISR experience strongly desired
-Able to demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
-Experience using IETM's, EMSNG preferred
-Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel desired
-Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
-Strong written, reading, verbal communication skills
-Ability to interact and communicate effectively and clearly with multiple audiences
-Work performed in Office, Maintenance shop, and Field Environments
-Ability to work in extreme temperatures
-Must meet and maintain ASR requirements and restrictions for work in Enclosed Combat Type Vehicles
- Candidates should be able to obtain and maintain a US Passport/Visa, and a corporate credit card for travel purposes.
- Must be able travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support operations.
- Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
-Must be a U.S. person
-Must be able to work 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
 
Position Hourly Rate: $40.53
 
Position Incentive: Hired applicant may be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
 
Benefits Offered: Employees and their eligible dependents are offered medical, dental, vision, life and accident insurance plans, disability insurance plans, health spending account, flexible spending account, 401(k) retirement plan and tuition reimbursement. Employees may be eligible for the SCA Health & Welfare Benefit hourly rate, which will vary, based on the employee’s choice of benefit elections. The SCA Health & Welfare Benefit hourly rate ranges from $0.00 to $4.57.
 
Employees are also eligible to receive 6.66 hours of vacation per month, 56 hours of sick time per year and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
