Job Description
- Posting is for a Facilities B position.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience relative to the Facilities B skill set.
- Work collectively with peers to obtain mission.
- Interface Positively with Customer and Coworkers
- Ability to coordinate facilities projects.
- Perform Quality Work/Self-Inspection
- Dependability/Reliability
- Demonstrate good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Use of expendable and durable supplies
- Adhere to relevant ISO quality and EH&S requirements.
- Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot basic problems including (but not limited to) hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic problems.
- Identify and apply use of required PPE to assigned task.
- Demonstrate tool care and proper use of tools.
- Train coworkers and peers on equipment and facilities processes
- Basic computer skills as required by position (GDLS computer skills required by job assignment)
- Use of standard tools and equipment (cranes, hand tools, forklifts etc.)
- Ability to read/understand assembly drawings as it pertains to facilities.
- Housekeeping/Janitorial Skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Possess basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills.
- Understand and be in compliance with Red Book (Depot) Haz Mat
